LAIKA is an original animated short film about the true story of the first dog sent into space. Told through stark illustration, limited color, and atmospheric sound, the film follows a Soviet scientist handler whose bond with Laika complicates the mission he’s ordered to complete.

This short explores guilt, duty, and the quiet humanity inside a myth we all think we know.
